How are winners selected?

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please print a copy of these Terms and Conditions and retain for future reference.

The Promoter: pladis (UK) Limited, Building 3, Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, Chiswick, London W4 5YA (please do not send any correspondence to this address). (“Promoter”).
Eligibility: Entry is open to residents of England, entrants must be aged 18 or over. The following are excluded from entry:
1. Directors, management and employees of the Promoter and The Co-op Group, or its holding or subsidiary companies.
2. Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter, or any third parties who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; and
3. Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
Requirements: Entrants must have internet access, smartphone, email address, mobile number and Northwest The Co-op Group membership number. A purchase of a qualifying product (see clause 7) is necessary to enter. Retain receipt as proof of purchase. No photocopies or illegible receipts will be accepted.
Promotional Period: The Promotion opens 00:00 on 01/10/2025 and the close date is 23:59 21/10/2025 (the “Closing Date”).
Participating Stores: This promotion is valid in selected Northwest The Co-op Group stores across: Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, and Cumbria.
Entry Instructions: The smartphone must be linked to an active account with a recognised telephone services provider. The account holder must be the same person completing the Registration details indicated below. The Promotion is limited to a maximum of one entry per smartphone number per day and a maximum of two entries per smartphone number per week. To enter:
1. Purchase any qualifying product from a participating The Co-op Group store during the Promotion Period.
2. Scan QR code or go to winwithjaffa.co.uk , to cast your vote on whether Jaffa is a cake or biscuit then enter the required details of full name, smartphone number, and email address.
3. Once you successfully complete your registration, you will receive an onscreen message showing a win or lose message.
4. Entrants may enter twice per calendar week.
5. All entries received after the campaign Closing Date (21/10/25) are automatically disqualified.
6. Entry may only be made online on our web page using the method described in (b and c) above. Entry by any other means (for example postal) shall not be accepted.
7. In the event that the site has entries in which a bot is suspected, you may be required to validate either your mobile number or email address in order to validate your entry. This is at the promoter’s discretion and is in addition to the above requirements.

The Promoter will not accept:
1. Responsibility for entries that are late, incorrect, illegible, incomplete, defaced, corrupt, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, hardware or software failure of any kind or any other reason; or
2. Proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize Promotion.
No third party or bulk entries. Entries via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified. If it becomes apparent that either an entrant or household is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase the entrant’s entries or otherwise acting in violation of these Terms, these entrants will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void. Entrants are advised to take care when entering their details; the Promoter is not responsible for mistypes.
Prizes: There are 24 prizes available to be won. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for an alternative. Entrants may only win a max of 1 prize per household.
1. 4 x Jaffa Cakes Stockport Factory Tour for 2 people on Friday January 30^th 2026
  - Each winner will be invited to bring one guest (18+).
  - Each winner will receive £300 for travel and subsistence costs.
  - Date of the tour is set by the factory and will take place on Friday 30^th January 2026. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without liability, to amend, postpone, or reschedule the date of the tour in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  On site rules
  - The date of the tour is set and cannot be scheduled by the winner; please ensure you can be available on this date to take the prize.
  - The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove from, the premises any winner and/or their guest(s) who, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter or the site manager, fails or refuses to comply with the factory’s rules, regulations, or instructions, whether provided in advance or on arrival. Such rules include, but are not limited to: compliance with food safety and hygiene protocols; removal of all jewellery, nail polish, and nail extensions; wearing of all required personal protective equipment (PPE); adherence to safety briefings; prohibition on photography or video recording; and observance of any restrictions relating to recent travel to high-risk areas or to medical conditions such as open skin wounds or infections. Winners and/or their guest(s) who are unable or unwilling to comply with these requirements will forfeit their right to the prize, and no alternative or compensation will be provided.
  - pladis reserves the right to refuse entry into the factory for any reason.

Winner Selection: There are 24 prizes available to be won. Prizes are awarded via pre-allocated winning moments randomly selected throughout the Promotion Period. The first valid entry received after each winning moment will win the corresponding prize. If no entry is received between two winning moments, the prize will roll over to the next valid entry.
Winner Notification: Instant winners will be notified on-screen, immediately upon entry. Winners will be required to provide their postal address and bank details (for Tour winner’s spending allowance only) and Northwest The Co-op Group membership number to claim their prize. Prizes must be claimed within 14 days of notification, or they will be forfeited. Take care when entering your Northwest The Co-op Group membership number, if it is entered incorrect, your claim will be rejected. Any prizes that remain unclaimed at the end of the promotion, will go into a prize draw.
Unclaimed Prizes Draw: Any prizes that are not claimed within the stated claim period or rejected due to incorrect details will be forfeited. All forfeited or unclaimed prizes will be entered into a prize draw, which will take place within 14 days of the Promotion closing date. The draw will be conducted at random under independent supervision. Winners of this draw will be notified via the contact details provided at entry and must claim their prize within 14 days of notification. If a prize remains unclaimed after this period, it will be forfeited and not re-awarded.
Entrants acknowledge that the Promoter may be prevented from providing some or all of the Prize elements due to unforeseen circumstances. In such circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute or cancel some or all of the Prize and neither the Promoter nor the Companies accept responsibility in these circumstances.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Promotion if deemed necessary due to circumstances outside of its reasonable control.
The Promoter’s decision is final on all matters relating to the Promotion.
If the Promoter has reasonable grounds for believing that an entrant has contravened the Terms and Conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative Winner.
The Winners’ surnames and counties can be requested, by emailing info@winners-list.com with the subject 8595 Jaffa Winners List and will be available for a period of 4 weeks from 05/11/2025.
By entering this Promotion, each entrant acknowledges that if he or she is a Winner, his or her surname and county may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Any entrant may object to their information being made available in this way or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting the Promoter. In these circumstances the entrant acknowledges that the Promoter may nevertheless disclose such information in full to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
Entrants must enter the Promotion using their legal name. The Promoter will verify the eligibility of prize winners. The Promoter will require such information that it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose, and a Prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entries (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified, any Reward awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:
1. Verify the eligibility of entrants by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Reward may be withheld unless and until verification is completed satisfactorily.
2. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
3. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
4. Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.
5. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
6. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not fully meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.
Where a Winner has been found to be in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions and in particular where a person is in breach of the entry restrictions, the Promoter may nevertheless still enforce its right to disqualify that person and require the return or reimbursement to the Promoter of any Prize even where a prize has been awarded and/or actually provided to the entrant or Winner in question.
The Promoter makes no representation or warranty in relation to any Prize provided. Except as specifically set out herein and to the maximum extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law are hereby excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we hereby exclude and shall not have any liability to any entrant or Winner in connection with or arising out of this Promotion howsoever caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited prizes, damages and other liabilities, provided that nothing herein shall operate so as to limit or exclude our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or liability for fraudulent misrepresentation. For the avoidance of doubt, this paragraph shall also apply in respect of any prize provided by a third-party provider.
If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
Winners may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion with no further compensation.
This Promotion is governed by English Law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
